NI 43-101 Technical Reports

The total number of technical reports filed in Canada under 2023 was the lowest since 2020. A total of 656 technical reports under NI 43-101 were filed, including 71 amended and refiled technical reports.

The months with the most and least filed technical reports were March and January, respectively, with 89 and 38 reports filed.

In 2023, there were fewer technical reports filed on SEDAR compared with 2022. However, the total number of amended and refiled technical reports exceeded the previous year. This may indicate that the NI 43-101 standard is more complex, and that Qualified Persons have less understanding of the Canadian public mineral projects reporting code.
